Involved in creating long-term technical support strategies which include phone support, email support and web support. DATABASE COORDINATOR, Haines & Company: 10/98- 8/99
Research the availability, price, and content of files to add to existing database. Determine the resources needed to bring up the new file, update the files, determine the feasibility of appending the data elements to existing files, and the order in which it should be done. Procure the files to be added to the database, coordinate activities necessary to get the file up and ready to sell, and notify all departments of the new file availability. Determine course of action when there is a problem with the data, notify database programmer of existing problems, and interface with vendors to correct the source of errors in the data.
